Professor Ester Herlin-Karnell gives a brief introduction to her research in the area of EU criminal law. Professor Herlin-Karnell explains what EU criminal law is and how it has developed. She also discusses some of her recent and current projects, such as the area of EU financial crimes and the European Arrest Warrant.
Ester Herlin-Karnell is professor of EU Criminal Law in the Department of Law, School of Business, Economics and Law at University of Gothenburg. Her main research interests lie in the area of EU criminal law, EU constitutional law, EU security regulation, EU market regulation, constitutional law theory and political theory.
