The Master’s Programme in Conservation of Cultural Heritage Objects allows you to develop your methodological and technical skills while incorporating critical thinking in conservation. The programme combines science, practical conservation, and research and is taught by experienced conservators, conservation scientists, and international guest lecturers.
The Master’s Programme in Conservation deepens your knowledge about the multiple layers of meaning of cultural heritage and allows you to design your own individual courses and create your own unique academic profile. You get to explore issues of maintenance and reuse, contemporary developments, and different aspects of participatory heritage planning.
The notion of sustainability is integrated into the conservation field as it highlights how historical aspects are seen as resources in societal development.
