Molecular biology has become increasingly important in tackling
biological problems. By understanding how the cell’s DNA, proteins and
molecules act and interact, molecular biologists can change the cell's
function and properties. Meet Marta from Spain, telling you what she
likes about the Master’s Program in Molecular Biology at the University
of Gothenburg.
The program consists of advanced level courses in biology such as
molecular biology, genetics, molecular microbiology, neurobiology and
immunology. Optional courses allow you to tailor your education to your
own interests and ambitions. At the end of your studies, you perform an
individual laboratory-based project work of up to one year in one of our
research groups.
By studying Molecular Biology at the University of Gothenburg, you
choose to become part of a stimulating environment with top research in
cell biology, genetics, genomics, microbiology and molecular biology.
