Music determines heart rate variability of singers
When people sing together their heart starts beating at the same pace. Researchers at the Sahlgrenska Academy are exploring people's biological responses to music. The research project is called Body Score, and the findings may eventually be used on patients to reduce pain, relieve preoperative anxiety and increase their motivation for rehabilitation.
